Rural areas in Batticaloa district are badly affected by the Covid-19 and mostly the children do not have access to personal protective materials and lack awareness.
Aligning with the government plan to support the school children, Circle has provided personal protective materials such as thermometers and sanitizers to schools in those areas.
We identified Eravur Pattu, Manmunai West, and Manumunai North school students who required the most assistance.
Circle provided 50 1leter can sanitizers and 10 thermometers for the children through schools.
Around 3000 students are benefited from this activity.
